Paper Lantern Making Workshop

PAPER LANTERN MAKING WORKSHOP!

Monday, December 29 from 2 - 6 p.m.

Come and stop by church sometime between 2 and 6 p.m. and make a lantern. Bring a friend, a neighbor. This event is for all ages. We will have several different kinds of lanterns to choose from, and several adults to help. I would count on it taking you about 45-60 minutes to put one together. Though, as parents of artistic kids know... it can take as long as you want for those who want to put in the extra details. You can stay the whole time if you wish, or you can come after work and get one done. We will have all the supplies and some snacks, as well as some volunteers to show you what to do! Then on the 12th day of Christmas, the Day of Epiphany, join us for our Epiphany Light Parade, a celebration of light. Tuesday, January 6 we will process down Main St. toward Lakeside Park to the bridge with our lanterns and bells and triangle and things.
