8th Annual Outrun Addiction 5K

Join us for the 8th Annual Outrun Addiction 5K on Saturday, September 20, 2025, for a powerful day of community and hope at the Enfield Annex in Enfield, CT. The event is much more than just a 5K—it's a gathering of hundreds of people from our community, coming together to support one another and honor the lives forever changed by addiction. Whether you're a runner, walker, or just want to come to cheer, there's a place for you. We have a 5K run, 2-Mile walk option, and if you can’t make it in person-participate virtually from anywhere to show your support.

The "Today I Matter" poster project will be there, a moving display of photos in memory of those we have lost. We will also have local addiction awareness and support groups on site including Tri Circle and Alex’s Army, offering resources for those grieving the loss of a loved one and for those supporting someone currently struggling with addiction. Proceeds from the race will be donated to these vital local support groups and also go towards scholarships for Enfield High School Seniors who have been impacted by addiction.
