🍂 Harvest Home Sunday — November 23 🍞
As the season of gratitude approaches, Central United Methodist Church celebrates Harvest Home Sunday, a cherished tradition of giving thanks and giving back. Each November, our church family and community come together to fill brown grocery bags with nonperishable, shelf-stable foods that will be shared with our Shepherd’s Supper guests and CHOW.
🛒 Bags will be available the first Sunday in November and throughout the month.
Those who are able are encouraged to fill a bag with items such as canned fruits, vegetables, soups, or proteins. Whenever possible, please choose cans with pop-off lids for easier access.
This simple act of generosity carries great meaning. In a time when many families are facing new hardships and SNAP benefits have been reduced, every contribution helps fill not only plates but hearts. Together, we can be a light of hope and love for our neighbors who need it most. 💛
At Central, we believe that love has no limits, and all are welcome at the table.
