- **Event Description**: A Place To Grow is a community garden providing a service to those with health needs plus volunteers. It is based in Enderby (at the bottom of the carpark at Enderby Leisure Centre) but covers all of Blaby District.
We are having an open day on Saturday 27th June from 11-2 pm where people have the opportunity to come and have a look around the garden to see the fantastic work we do and there is also a refreshment stall where drinks and cakes will be sold plus a plant stall where plants that have been grown in the garden can be purchased.
There is also a tombola stall being run by the newly formed FRIENDS OF A PLACE TO GROW, we are asking for anybody that can donate items that can be used as prizes for the tombola please contact me and we can arrange for them to be dropped off or collected. We are looking for items such as bottles, cans, tins, sweets, biscuits, toiletries, cleaning items, craft items, any children’s books, crayons, bubbles, toys etc etc
