BPS Technical Workflow (Biofunctional Prosthetic System)

Synopsis:

With a systematic concept which involves patient, dentist and dental technician, we can achieve predictable results and satisfied patients. Material and devices, which allow an economic and stress-free workflow, form the base for such a concept. Tutor Claire O'Brien will demonstrate how the Bio functional Prosthetic System (BPS®) offers a practical combination of a systematic workflow and high quality materials for the fabrication of functional and aesthetic dentures.

Aims:

Timed to take place the day after the Clinical course, the BPS courses allow you the option to book both individual days (Clinical & Technical) one after the other. This makes it suitable for individuals, teams of Dentist and Dental Technician, or if you are a CDT and want to complete the full workflow yourself. This course is designed for Clinical Dental Technicians and Dental Technicians that are looking to gain a better understanding of the BPS system including the setting up of a F/F using the templates in the BPS workflow.

• Learn the theoretical basics about the BPS®
• Understand the clinical and technical workflow
• Correctly interpret anatomical landmarks on your model
• Construction of custom trays incorporating the Gnathometer-M Gothic arch tracer
• Correct articulation of models using average value Stratos templates
• Set up of a F/F according to BPS principles
• Improve your natural wax up technique
