Who knows what shapes this spring will take—and what better way to welcome a new growing season than by gathering in community to celebrate all the newness spring brings?
Join us for our first-ever Spring Seed Swap, hosted by Heal Botanics at Fox Point Farms—a half-day gathering centered on seed saving, seasonal renewal, and community connection.
This event brings together gardeners, farmers, herbalists, families, and land-loving folks to exchange seeds, plant cuttings, fresh harvests, houseplants, garden tools, books, and clothing, while celebrating the vital role seeds play in resilient food systems. We’ll also host a thoughtfully curated group of vendors offering seeds, plants, and handmade crafts for purchase.
Enjoy offerings from our Heal Botanics tea bar, alongside fresh pastries baked by our on-site bakery team, vinyl music, and time to linger, mingle, and connect.
We’ll begin the morning with the collaborative creation of an earth mandala, accompanied by vinyl music curated by Guillermo Palumbo. Guests are encouraged to bring plant material or natural elements to contribute to the mandala build. This will be followed by an opening ceremony and a series of short talks and open discussions with local seed keepers and farmers, sharing their lived experiences and knowledge surrounding the history, importance, and practice of seed saving.
