Join PAROC and the Grassland Heritage Foundation for our annual native plant sale on May 9th from 9am-12pm. Expand your native garden with species like Blue Sage, Wild Bergamot, and Big Bluestem.🌾🪻

Beginning at 9am, Dr. Kathy Denning of the Grassland Heritage Foundation, will be presenting an educational talk on gardening with native plants. Following this presentation, the plant sale will open, featuring 14 native grass and flower species. The PAROC classroom will also be open and will feature native plant and pollinator activities for all ages! Craft pollinator antennae, explore the cellular anatomy of plants through microscopy, create tunnel nests for native bees, and so much more! 

Also, don’t miss out on a guided prairie walk through Campus Prairie with the Native Lands Restoration Collaborative and Dr. Daphne Mayes. Learn about native plant species, their role, and about the process of an active tallgrass prairie restoration. This educational hike will begin at 10:30am.
