Emporia, KS — The Emporia Area Chamber of Commerce invites the community to kick off the holiday season with this year’s Christmas Parade: “It’s a Country Christmas! Event’s underwriter: Walmart.

Join us Tuesday, December 2, 2025, in downtown Emporia for an evening filled with small-town charm and holiday cheer. The Downtown Lighting and Dedication Ceremony will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by the Christmas Parade at 7:00 p.m.
In the spirit of a true country Christmas, parade entries will showcase festive floats, twinkling lights, and hometown creativity — celebrating the warmth, joy, and togetherness that make Emporia shine each holiday season.

Community members, schools, and local businesses are encouraged to participate and show their holiday spirit. Parade entry forms and guidelines are available on the Chamber’s website. 
Entry Deadline - November 18,2025. 

In case of inclement weather, the rain date will be Thursday, December 4.

Mark your calendars, bundle up, and join us downtown as Emporia celebrates “It’s a Country Christmas!”
