A story of identity, survival, passion, and belonging — followed by a Q&A. This workshop explores the history, sound, and soul of tango orchestras — from the golden age to today — giving dancers and music lovers alike a richer understanding of what moves us. How can we as queer tango dancers enjoy tango music as deeply as possible? 4 - 6 pm Dinner break 6pm-7pm Tango Conditioning Class by Carrie. Prepare your body for long nights of dancing tango, and learn exercises designed to prevent injury and increase your comfort as a dancer. All levels welcome, no tango experience necessary. 7 - 11pm Milonga with DJ Sandeep, including a special drag performance by one of our local queer tango community members!
