Having just released her seventh studio album, COVER STORY, Tara Shannon, is coming home to Russell Township to celebrate the season. A 30+ resident of Russell, Tara has been involved in many arts and culture initiatives in the area over the years. Her new album is a heartfelt tribute to the iconic Canadian women who shaped her artistic journey. Produced by visionary music executive and Bob Kingsley Living Legend Award recipient, Jim Ed Norman, this powerful collection reimagines songs from Celine Dion, Joni Mitchell, Sarah McLachlan, Alanis Morissette, Shania Twain, and more—woven together by Tara’s soulful voice and deep reverence for the artists who inspired her. Both nostalgic and fresh, Cover Story is a love letter to Canadian music and the women who dared to lead with authenticity, courage, and creativity.
She looks forward to performing these songs and more holiday favorites at Homestead Pub on Dec 13th.
