THE CHORAL (12A)

An uncompromising new choirmaster, Dr Henry Guthrie (Ralph Fiennes), sets an ambitious task for a Yorkshire town's choral society after a number of its members leave to fight in the First World War. Also starring the brilliant Roger Allam and Simon Russell Beale, the film was written by Alan Bennett and directed by Nicholas Hytner.
