We will be focusing on practice resilience, health and wellbeing.About this EventIn the morning we will explore different aspects of developing and maintaining practice resilience including workshops on fee proposals and the growing use of AI in small practice. We ask attendees to bring relevant documents/images to share with the group in relation to these topics. We will then welcome Paul Darlow, , former Director of Pick Everard and Charter Partnership, who will lead a session on practice mentoring. In the afternoon, we will be joined by Lucy Rice, https://www.lucyrice.co.uk/ , a professional coach to the creative industries. Lucy will explore the benefits of coaching with the group. We then have Lisa Politt from Breathing Bliss (https://www.breathingbliss.co.uk/) who will guide the group in a breathwork session.Refreshments will be available throughout the day and of course, a delicious lunch! Now running for nearly 5 years, the network’s co-chairs host monthly online meetings which often include engaging guest speakers or informal CPD sessions in addition to networking, and two in-person events a year supported by the RIBA Local Initiative Funding.The network is open to sole practitioners or small practices with five employees or less, located within the eastern region.Kindly note that failure to meet the above criteria will result in the automatic cancellation of your ticket.A photographer will cover this event and the images may be used to publicise future RIBA events.By accepting an invitation or purchasing a ticket you consent to being photographed, filmed or recorded as a visitor attending the event.Cancellations must be made in writing to events@riba.org. No refunds can be made for cancellations notified within 30 days of the event.
