Join artist facilitator, Mo (Laura Matthews) for a morning of doodling and creating with a nice cuppa and chin wag. 

These workshops aim to boost confidence in your art abilities and encourage you to explore your own style. And it's a good excuse to try something different and get together with like minded people.


? September: Sketch Your Perfect Day
Ease back into creativity with this playful sketching workshop! What does your perfect day look like? Whether it’s a slow morning with coffee or an energetic sunrise hike, we’ll bring those ideas to life through quick, 12-minute doodles.
? You’ll sketch 10 different moments using pens, pencils, pastels or watercolours – whatever inspires you. No pressure to be perfect – this is all about loosening up, having fun, and capturing your ideal day in a creative way.
✏️ Perfect for beginners and experienced doodlers alike.

? October: Flower Pot Painting
This month, we’re switching things up and painting on terracotta flower pots using acrylics! Choose your own theme – bold patterns, nature-inspired designs, abstract colour play – and see where your creativity takes you.
? Painting on 3D objects is a great way to stretch your artistic muscles and try something different.
? Please RSVP so we can make sure there are enough pots for everyone!

? November: 12-Day Countdown Calendar
As the holiday season approaches, we’ll be creating our own unique 12-day countdown calendars – but with a twist.
Will you go for classic Christmas scenes? Or something more personal – quotes, goals, treats, or daily acts of kindness?
? A great opportunity to mix design, creativity and a little self-reflection in a fun and festive format.

? December: New Year Resolution Poster
Let’s look ahead to 2026 with colour and creativity! In this inspiring workshop, we’ll design bold, visual posters that reflect our hopes, dreams and goals for the year ahead.
Whether you want to highlight several smaller resolutions or design one big motivational mantra, this is your chance to turn your intentions into art you can display all year round.
?️ Think mood boards, hand-lettering, mixed media, collage – anything goes!

? The workshops are suitable for ALL abilities.

?️ All materials will be provided so you just need to bring yourself.

☕️ The workshop is £10* and includes free tea & coffee – and biscuits!

You can pay cash on the day (walk ups welcome) but please note places are limited. Please confirm your attendance by dropping me an email at artyfartymo@gmail.com or responding to this event so I can make sure I have enough supplies and biscuits!

Ages 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

*PLEASE NOTE: I don't want the cost of the workshops to be a barrier for those that are feeling the pinch. I understand the cost of living crisis is having an effect on many and I believe that carving out some time to get creative and being social in a relaxed environment is very important for your wellbeing. So, if you would like to attend a workshop but funds are an issue at the mo, please do drop me an email.
