Plenty River Clean Up Event

Join us to clean up the southern end of the Plenty River, along the border of Montmorency and Greensborough.

The Plenty River is a biodiverse waterway which deserves to be clear of waste. We clean up the river to provide a healthier environment for the beautiful creatures that live in the waterways, including the vulnerable platypus and waterbirds like the Australasian Darter.

Meet by the Plenty River at the loop-shaped gravel carpark adjacent to the Montmorency Tennis Courts and public toilets and behind the Montmorency Park North Oval.

Come along and get involved!

What to bring:
Gloves, weather-appropriate clothing, sunscreen, closed shoes, preferably long, loose pants. Gumboots are great too if you have them!
