This is your chance!Our Upcycle Festival allows you to work with a local designer or artist to upcycle your garments or objects that need mending. Learn techniques for upcycling and get guidance from local fashion designers.Each ticket covers the cost of upcycling one item, a goody bag and take-home materials.The artists on the day are SWAP Creative, Trash Gremlin Studio, Lyras Daear, and Acantholichen. We will also have a bunch of creative volunteers with skills in embroidery, stitching, painting, patchwork, handyman fixing (think broken hinge or something needs tightening/oiling on a box lid, etc), and so much more! When: Sunday 13 September, 11–6pm.Where: Waxy Apples, ElsternwickLearn more about Many Hands Make.There will be sharp objects at this event, such as scissors and sewing/craft needles. You will be liable if you get hurt, and Many Hands Make is not liable for any injuries.
