- **Event Description**: Please gather at Elora Centre for the Arts with LANTERNS lit and meet with solstice drummers drumming! We will carry our lights in a contemplative walk along boardwalk and Grand River in the moonlight of Bissell Park and end back by the fire at Elora Centre for the Arts. Everyone will be invited to WRITE WISHES for the New Year and place them into our Solstice Sun which will be released into the SOLSTICE FIRE! Songs, merriment, hot cider and cookies to follow around the fire.

Homemade lanterns of any kind encouraged from elaborate to flashlights with tissue paper!  ~  Costumes welcome!

Meet behind the parking lot at the Elora Centre for the Arts with your lantern at 7:00pm

* If you are unable to attend and would like to write your New Year Wishes to be burned in the Solstice Sun, please go to The Desert Rose Cafe in Elora where the sun will be waiting for all wishes until  afternoon of December 21st*
