We will be offering meditation on Tuesdays at 11am in the month of July at Steele Memorial Library. In these sessions, you’ll learn a few simple, effective meditation techniques—no prior experience needed. We’ll explore how to gently bring your attention to the present moment using breath, body awareness, and kind curiosity. After a brief overview, you’ll be guided through a relaxed, accessible meditation so you can experience it for yourself. You'll leave with tools you can begin using right away to bring more calm, clarity, and resilience into your everyday life. Come for one, some or all available dates. FREE! No registration required. Just show up!

Margie Rodgers has been a Meditation Practice Leader at River's Edge Meditation Group in Elmira, NY. for 13 years. She just completed Anywhere, Anytime Meditation Teacher Training with Tergar International under Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche, and is a student of Pema Chödrön. Margie is also an End of Life Doula and former Interfaith Spiritual Care Counselor. Introducing people to beginning meditation techniques is near and dear to her heart.
