- **Event Description**: Welsh Pony and Cob Society of Washington is proud to announce that our 5th annual Fall Festival and Open Pony show has been awarded as the Northwest Regional show through WPCSA. This has been made possible in huge part by a large donation from the South Central Royal Welsh Stallion Auction to cover the added costs. The other reason this happened is thanks to all our exhibitors and volunteers! A show needs to prove that it can attract enough entries and participation to carry the title. After our recording breaking number of entries with 63 registered Welsh and 75 total ponies/cobs last fall, we have shown that the demand for Welsh and pony shows is big in this region.

We are also excited to announce we have two fabulous new judges for this show. WPCSA judge Heather Corfee will be judging halter and most of the performance classes. For our other halter judge, we will have WPCS judge Helen Williams flying in from Wales! This will be a great chance to have your pony judged by some of the best in the world!

As always, we make our shows as inclusive as possible and offer as many Welsh classes as we can squeeze in along with offering variations of each class division for our wonderful open pony entries. We are at a new facility this year, the Grays Harbor Fairgrounds and Event Center, which should help make these shows run smoothly. We will have two large covered arenas for to stagger classes and allow us to not lose time with set up/break down of various obstacles. We also have a massive outdoor warm up ring and a smaller covered staging area to allow for plenty of room to prep for classes.

Classes offered include halter, driving, jumping, trail, English, Western, green pony, novice rider, lead line, w/t and more. In between the performance classes, we will add in some fun options too including ride-a-buck, adult leadline and costume. And, of course, the crowd favorite Bribe Your Pony.
