Audition Information
Note that, although the script indicates five male actors, these auditions will be for ONLY the two main characters. Please realize that these roles are both extremely demanding - in terms of line loads, acting quality, and physical movement. Both actors will be required to attend EVERY rehearsal (and some modifications may be made to the schedule to accommodate the actors cast). Kindly consider these demands (and possibly take a look at the script) before signing up for an audition spot. Additional auditions will be held at a later date if needed. Thank you!
All people auditioning will be asked to fill out an audition information sheet. We prefer you fill in the form in advance, print it, and bring it with you to the audition – this will make your check in process go much faster. If you don’t have access to a printer, you may complete the form before the start of your audition.
Visit SunsetPlayhouse.com TO PRINT YOUR AUDITION FORM.
You will also need to reserve an audition spot.

Synopsis:
Wealthy crime novelist Andrew Wyke invites his wife’s lover, Milo Tindle, to his grand estate for what appears to be a civil confrontation. But as their conversation turns into a high-stakes battle of wits, elaborate schemes unfold, and nothing is as it seems.
With razor-sharp dialogue, shocking twists, and a suspenseful cat-and-mouse game, SLEUTH delivers a night of intrigue, tension, and dark humor that will leave you breathless.
Characters:
Andrew Wyke: (50s–60s) A wealthy, eccentric mystery writer with a sharp wit and love of games. Brilliant and manipulative, he takes pleasure in controlling the people around him through elaborate schemes.
Milo Tindle: (30s–40s) A stylish, intelligent man of modest background, in a relationship with Wyke’s wife. Polite and composed on the surface, but with growing confidence and complexity as the psychological battle unfolds.
