- **Event Description**: We will eat meals together, enjoy time in the saddle working cattle, and have some devotionals with Pastor Stuart.
Please note: depending on crowd size and experience, we could split into two groups during certain riding portions. 
Please bring a ranch rope. If you need help picking your first rope, feel free to reach out for suggestions! 

As always, it is free to bring a camper/trailer and run a generator. You're also welcome to bring a tent, as there is a bathhouse available to overnight guests during this event. It is also free to bring portable panels to set up for your ponies! Otherwise, limited overnight accommodations are available for horses and humans--please select that during registration. More info at the bottom of this section. 

TUESDAY — Ride • Rope • Renew
10:00–1:30 PM — Check-In & Settle In
Arrive, unload horses, get settled into lodging/campers, meet everyone and explore the ranch.
2:30 PM — Welcome, Intros, & Intro to Roping
Quick introductions and safety briefing, then ground roping instruction. Practice building a loop, swinging and roping the dummy.
3:30 PM — Saddle Up
4:00 PM — Ride Out & Gather Cattle
Ride out together, gather the cattle and bring them into the working area. Work on stockmanship.
5:30 PM — Unsaddle & Free Time
Put horses away, shower and relax.
7:30 PM — Welcome Dinner, Campfire, & Devotional
8:30 PM — Game: Cowboy Trivia + Team Draw
We will divide everyone into teams that stay together for Wednesday's & Thursday's competitions. Winning team gets points toward becoming overall retreat winner.

WEDNESDAY — Cowboy Day
8:00 AM — Cowboy Breakfast
8:45 AM — Saddle Up
9:30 AM — Mounted Roping & Cattle Skills
Split into stations depending on group size:
Rope the sled horseback
Work the mechanical flag
Horsemanship exercises geared toward cattle work
11:00 AM — Unsaddle
12:00 PM — Lunch
1:00–4:00 PM — Free Time
Nap, fish, play cards, cornhole, walk the ranch, visit, etc. (Bring a fishing pole and supplies if you want to fish. Catch & release please!)
4:00 PM — Team Cowboy Challenge
4:30 PM — Saddle Up & Number Cattle
5:00–6:30 PM — Cattle Sorting
6:30 PM — Unsaddle
7:30 PM — Dinner
8:30 PM — Devotional & Campfire

THURSDAY — Finish Strong
8:00 AM — Breakfast, Devotional & Prayer
8:45 AM —Saddle Up
9:00 AM — Big Loop Roping Challenge
11:30 AM — Retreat Awards
Announce the winning team. 
11:45 AM — Group Photo + Closing Prayer
12:00 PM — Goodbyes / Check-Out


No processing fees if paying up front in full via Venmo or Zelle - Text Gracie for payment info and registration coupon. Payment options also available!

If you are booking lodging, please note check-in is after 10am Tuesday. If you'd like an additional night in the lodging, please ask and we may be able to accommodate! We are renting lodging "per bed", so if you want the whole abode to yourself, please select all bed options during registration. :) The cost displayed is for both nights.
