The Paddle Antrim Festival celebrates the waterways and local communities that make Northern Michigan’s Chain of Lakes so special. This event features community activities and a non-competitive, two-day paddle covering much of the Chain of Lakes Water Trail—from Ellsworth to Elk Rapids—spanning 12 lakes.

Held annually two weeks after Labor Day.

	•	Kick-off Party & Paddler Check-in

	•	Boat drop-off & wash station open
	•	Kick-off Party hosted by the Village of Ellsworth

	•	Paddler Check-in – Ellsworth River Park
	•	Breakfast (if purchased with registration)
	•	Mandatory Safety Brief
	•	Launch!
	•	📍 Thurston Park – Central Lake (7854 Bradford St.)
	•	Lunch for registered paddlers
	•	⏰ 1:00 PM – Must be past Central Lake checkpoint to continue to Bellaire
	•	⏰ 2:00–5:00 PM
📍 Short’s Beer Garden – Bellaire
	•	Block Party
	•	Day 2 paddlers may check in & pick up packets
