Folk Art Barn Quilt Painting Workshop w/Becca
Friday, August 29th, 1-4pm at Gilmer Arts Center

Have you ever seen a painted Barn Quilt as you drove the country backroads? Now you can paint one for your own barn, shed, covered porch or craft room. These make wonderful gifts!
Becca does the hard part by sketching the design of your choice. You come and paint along with other like-minded students, see you on August 29th.
We call it Folk Art, and it’s always fun in the gallery space classroom with Becca. (Image is one example.)
$75 fee covers all supplies to paint a 24”x24” board*
*Purebond Pre-primed Poplar Project Panels are provided and are rated for outdoor use when the painted surface is properly sealed with Min-Wax Spar Urethane protectant.

After you register with payment, contact Becca directly (706-889-1857) to select a design to paint. She will share a link with images of designs to choose from and will prepare your supplies. Let her know if you decide to change the colors.
If you wish to have a demo for learning how to draw a design, reach out when you register to request a demonstration during class or request a workbook copy with 3 designs for $10 extra during the workshop.
