The Kentucky Derby is on Saturday, May 2nd and NGMHC decided to celebrate by offering a fun theme day, Derby Day at the Museum. It’s nothing fancy or sophisticated. We thought it would be fun to see derby hats worn by men, women and children, the funnier and crazier, the better. To encourage participation, we are offering half price off for those who visit the museum wearing any hat they want as long as it is derby related. We love hats! The History Center invites you to join us for our first annual Derby Day at the Museum on Saturday, May 2nd at 11 AM, hosted at the history museum located at 772 Maddox Dr, Suite 126, East Ellijay in the Clock Tower Center. Enjoy light snacks and tour the museum.  We have some fun things for kids to do and we will be raffling off a rocking horse for $5.00 per ticket.
