- **Event Description**: During Lent, join us for weekly prayer gatherings on Thursdays from 7-8 pm in the Kids’ Sanctuary. Lent is a season of repentance and reflection, but also preparation for resurrection. Over the 6 weeks, various leaders will bring us through a time of guided, reflective prayer for ourselves, our community, and our world—asking God to renew our hearts, deepen our faith, and prepare us for Easter.

Whether you are comfortable praying aloud or this is a new experience for you, these gatherings will help you engage meaningfully with your church family while creating space for the Holy Spirit to move. As we humble ourselves in prayer, we are trusting God to bring healing, restoration, freedom, and new life in ways only He can! Come once, or join us each week! All ages are welcome; a quiet activity table will be available for younger children. 

Weekly themes:

Week 1 (February 26) – Returning to God: Open your heart to God’s mercy and grace, turning fully toward Him in repentance.

Week 2 (March 5) – Self‑Examination & Truth: Invite God to search your heart, revealing what needs healing and restoration.

Week 3 (March 12) – Prayer & Fasting for Freedom: Depend on God through prayer and fasting, asking Him to break chains and bring breakthrough.

Week 4 (March 19) – Standing Firm: Trust & Resistance: Stand in the freedom God has given, trusting Him and resisting anything that tries to pull you back.

Week 5 (March 26) – Almsgiving, Love & Witness: Let your renewed heart overflow in love and prayer for others, interceding for our community and world.

Week 6 (April 2) – Surrender & Resurrection Hope: Surrender all you’ve prayed and received to Jesus, trusting Him to bring renewal, new life, and resurrection hope.
