5th Annual Free Turkey Trot Fun Run Festival (Thanksgiving morning)

The 2026 Turkey Trot Fun Run Festival will take place on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 26, 2025, at 9:00 -10 AM. This free, family-friendly event is co-sponsored by Columbia Maryland Congregations of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and Progressive Athletics.

Choose from 1-mile, 2-mile, or 3.1-mile (5K) course options along the scenic Little Patuxent River Trail System in Ellicott City, MD. The run will start and end at the trailhead behind Dunloggin Middle School (9129 Northfield Rd), with free parking available at the school.

This event is open to all ages, with children welcome to participate via stroller, bike, or scooter, as long as they’re accompanied by an adult.

Tickets sell and Space is limited, so be sure to register early to secure your spot. Let’s kick off Thanksgiving together with fun and fitness!
