Hello CWU, Physical Education/School health alumni, We are delighted to invite you back to the Sport and Movement Studies (SAMS) department for the CEPS Alumni Summit Day 2026, a special celebration of connection, community, and engagement with fellow alumni, current students, faculty, and CEPS leadership.  This year is especially meaningful because we are commemorating the 30th anniversary of the College of Education and Professional Studies (CEPS). We look forward to celebrating this milestone with you as well.
 
CEPS Alumni Summit:
Date: Thursday, April 23, 2026.
Location: CWU Campus (check-in at the NW Center for Sport in Nicholson Pavilion – doubles doors on the east side near the tennis courts).
Agenda:
9:30 – 10:45 AM | PESH/HPE Alumni guest lecture/panel in Dr. Perez’s Health Methods class (NP 205)
11:00–11:25 AM | Alumni Check-in at Nicholson Pavilion (NW Center for Sport).
11:30 AM–12:30 PM | Alumni Lunch at Nicholson Pavilion (NP 202).
Enjoy a hosted lunch with CEPS leadership, faculty, and fellow alumni.
1:00–1:30 PM | Nicholson Pavilion tour with Dr. Ward (meet in NP 209)
1:30-2:00 PM | Break
2:00-2:50 PM | Table Tennis (tournament) or Pickleball activity
3:00–3:45 PM | Choose from below activities:
Billiards and snacks with PESH faculty
VIP Campus Tour | Begins at the Wildcat Statue (SURC East Patio).
4:00–5:00 PM | The CEPS Anniversary Reception | Fluke Lab (Hogue 106).
· All alumni, students, advisory board members, faculty, and staff are welcome to join. “Business Card Bingo” for socialization
 
Parking & travel:
Parking is available near Nicholson Pavilion; a parking pass code will be provided upon request.
If you’re traveling from outside the area, please arrange your own lodging and transportation.
