Join us for a relaxed evening at The Good News Cafe, where you can enjoy free coffee and drinks while getting to know the Necco-Elkins team and available supports. 

Bring the kids with you! Children will have a simple, fun activity to enjoy while adults spend time connecting, asking questions, and learning about available support. Each family who attends will receive complimentary coffee and drinks, light snacks, a free parenting resource and helpful information designed to ease stress and strengthen the care you’re already providing. 

Current foster parents and caregivers who have supported family members while working with Necco-Elkins will be there to share their experiences, alongside professional case managers, licensing specialists, and other team members available for conversation, guidance, and support. This is a come-as-you-are gathering. No pressure, just support.

The Power of Home helps—and with the right support, families can keep being home for their youngest family members.

This is not a recruitment pitch and not a formal presentation. It’s about:
-Letting kinship caregivers know that support exists
-Offering a safe, welcoming space to talk
-Helping families reduce stress and strain
-Preventing unnecessary disruptions that could push children into  
  the larger foster care system
-Introducing Necco-Elkins as a partner, not a last resort
