To be completed prior to the in-person course.In person, experiential activities on November 7 and 8, 2026.Course Description: The Jefferson Moss-Magee Program for Advanced Application of Clinical Technologies for the Lower Extremity (Jefferson MMPAACT for LE) is an intensive 2-day program in a small group learning atmosphere following asynchronous independent pre-work. It is designed to prepare clinicians and rehabilitation clinical scientists to act as leaders and knowledge brokers in the use of rehabilitation technology and robotics for improving lower extremity impairment for adults with neurologic dysfunction.Throughout the program, each participant will develop skills to evaluate and apply technology to patients based on evidence, patient characteristics, and patient-specific treatment goals. They will develop a specific, individualized plan to structure and implement the application of technology within their own treatment setting and clinical care. Whether practicing in a large hospital system or an individual outpatient clinic, the program will tailor the learning experiences to their individualized settings and needs. Upon completion of the program, clinicians will have the tools to optimize their own practices in the use of technology in lower extremity rehabilitation, as well as act as knowledge brokers and clinical champions in its use.Completion of all portions of the program—asynchronous remote lectures, independent study activities and the 2-day in-person content and testing—will result in the awarding of the Jefferson MMPAACT for LE Certificate.****Pre-Requisite materials will be on the Canvas LMS. If we have to cancel a course due to low enrollment, weather, or an emergency situation, you will be reimbursed the cost of registration. If you are on the waiting list of a course and do not get in, we will not charge your credit card; if you paid by check we will send the check back to you.
