In this class, we will be hand-building with slabs of clay to create the most adorable turtle garden stake! These turtles make an excellent addition to a flower bed or can be placed along your front walkway to welcome guests.

I will provide everything you need to create your work of art and guide you through each step of the process. All you need to do is come ready to get creative and a little muddy!

All materials are provided, and once you've finished creating your turtle, you'll select your glaze color.

Because clay must dry completely before firing, the finishing process takes several weeks. After your project has completely dried, it will go through a bisque firing. Once the bisque firing is complete, I will clean each piece, apply wax to the underside, glaze it, and then fire it one final time. Projects will be ready for pick-up in approximately 4–6 weeks. Shipping is also available for an additional fee.

Please wear comfortable clothing, closed-toe shoes, and have your hair pulled back. Rings, bracelets, and other loose jewelry are best left at home.
