Learn how to protect your computer from viruses and malware with Matheson Memorial Library’s technology courses! In this class, we will discuss different kinds of viruses and malware that can infect your computer, and common myths surrounding them. We will also discuss preventing and removing malware, including helpful software to keep your information safe. Other topics include best practices for maintaining your computer’s security, such as keeping software updated, scheduling routine scans, and having both an antivirus program and malware remover.

Senior Planet from AARP is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people aged 60 and older who are learning to thrive in today’s digital world. Their classes provide a fun and easy way to learn about today’s technology topics.
