- **Event Description**: The Midwest Museum of American Art will mount an exciting exhibition of sculpture, paintings, & ceramics from the past 46 years of the Elkhart Juried Regional Exhibitions. Nearly fifty artworks are included in this commemorative exhibit that were created between 1979 and 2024. 

Every year since 1979, the Midwest Museum has collected what the jurors of each Elkhart Juried Regional exhibition have awarded as “Best of Show.” In 1993 the award was divided between three participants, thus accumulating two additional pieces for the Midwest Museum’s collection. The Best of Show award is purchased by the Midwest Museum for its permanent collection with acquisition funds provided by museum patrons.

Recipients of this prestigious award have become recognized for their talents nationally and internationally and are of course familiar names in the Michiana art community. Past recipients of this award include Abner Hershberger, Bill Kremer, Tom Meuninck, A.J. Nafziger and Dora Natella. This exciting collection of work is a historic survey of how the Michiana art world has changed and evolved.
