Join author Harold D. Baldwin for a kid’s hour at 11:30 and an adult hour at 12:30 for a reading from his book Up from Jackman.

Up from Jackman is meant for parents, teachers, and students, and shows that with determination and community support success can be achieved.

About the Author: Baldwin was born in the rural South, educated at Bowie State College in Maryland, professionally employed by the U.S. Government in Washington, D.C. and then employed by the same in San Francisco, California. Baldwin then worked for the Elk Grove and San Juan Unified School Districts for a total of 25 years.
