- **Event Description**: Our friend, Alex Lepper, with the City Of Elk Grove asked for a little help clearing hairy vetch (purple vine plant) from the vegetated area of district 56.
Several of our volunteers indicated an interest in helping, so we are creating an event for anybody interested in removing vetch. 
Please park in the south lot of the aquatic center, and make your way over to the gazebo area in the park where we will receive instructions.
Gloves will be available, and this effort will require pulling the vetch out by hand.

Snacks and water provided, but feel free to bring your own canteen.
