Due to the popularity of Highland Hugs, we’ve added an additional hour and are introducing timed entry to keep the experience calm and comfortable for families and animals. Families are welcome to explore the museum before and after their Highland Hugs time.

? Small groups
? $5 per person (ages 2 and up)  includes all-day museum exploration
? Held in our Launch Pad Space. 

Time slots are now available to reserve and help guarantee your spot. Walk-ins may be accommodated as space allows.

Get ready for one of the most adorable events of the season! On Friday, February 21st, the Lykens Valley Children’s Museum is welcoming two baby Highland cows for a special cuddling and learning experience you won’t want to miss. 

These sweet calves are visiting from Boujie Farm Girl, and guests will have the opportunity to meet, cuddle, and learn more about Highland cows in a safe, guided, hands-on setting. It’s the perfect blend of curiosity, connection, and unforgettable memories.
