Can’t make it on Election Day? You have options.
If you have a qualifying excuse to vote early, you can head to the Clerk’s office before the general early voting window opens.
Here are some examples of reasons this might be right for you:
- Traveling on election day
- Surgery on election day or caring for a loved on in the hospital
- At college and can't make it home on election day
- In your last trimester of pregnancy
- Not able to stand in long lines
- Caregiver is not available on election day
- Providing care for someone else on election day
- Scheduled to work during those times
- Working as an election officer on election day
When: May 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, and 13
Hours: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Where: Hardin County Clerk's Main Office (150 N Provident Way, Suite 103, Elizabethtown)
