- **Event Description**: Elizabethton Parks and Recreation and the Elizabethton/Carter County Public Library are excited to host ‘Hamilton in the Park’ on Friday, June 26, at Kiwanis Park in Elizabethton. This free community event will start at 7:00 pm. 

This year, we are excited to show the Broadway Musical, Hamilton, as a part of our Elizabethton 250 Foundations of Freedom event series, made possible by the Tennessee America 250 Grant program*. 

The evening will kick off with Hamilton trivia sponsored by Tachelle Peters Mortgage Lending Team with Movement Mortgage. Rise up and down all evening on our free inflatables, enjoy a free cookout while supplies last - so come young, scrappy, and hungry, and a Hamilton-themed costume contest with prizes, be sure to dress up like you’re running out of time. 

Food trucks will be on hand with dessert options available for purchase, and Woods & Wonder face painting will be in the park where it happens, offering free face painting from 7:00-9:00 pm to add a little extra sparkle to the night. Once the sun goes down, cozy up in the park and get ready to sing-along for a showing of the Broadway-to-screen smash-hit, Hamilton (rated PG-13).
Bring a lawn chair or blanket, and don’t throw away your shot for a night of fun!
