"My name is Jaime Schmidt and I started Blessings Garden Sourdough last year. I have a toddler and a baby and love to cook for my family. I started this business so I could be home with them and share my love of baking with other families. Sourdough is a labor of love and brings a certain amount of good nutrition into well loved treats! All of my recipes are long fermented so you get the most out of the sourdough starter. To me, one of the trickiest things about sourdough is learning to care for your starter. While I give out samples, I’ll be talking all things starter! I’ll have some of my dehydrated starter with me for sale as well as some muffins, cookies, pizza crusts and of course bread. I can’t wait to see you at JDLF! You’ll find my products listed weekly on the site."

Ashley will lead a discussion and game around simple balanced eating, and how to recognize foods and their macronutrient profiles. Teaching families how to build simple, balanced meals and snacks. Learning how to differentiate between nourishing foods and tricky foods. Nourishing your body should be full of community, nature, connection, and fun!
