Join us for the Celebration of Ability 2025 – The Art of Us, an inspiring evening celebrating creativity, connection, and community in recognition of International Day of People with Disability.
This year, the Playford Civic Centre will come alive as a vibrant stage and gallery, showcasing the many ways people express who they are and how they connect with others through the creative arts.
Attendees can look forward to an exciting line-up of live entertainment, visual art displays, and creative performances that reflect this year’s theme, The Art of Us — celebrating identity, inclusion, and the power of artistic expression.
The evening will also feature the Mayoral Awards, recognising local contributions to inclusion and access, along with opportunities to connect, celebrate, and be inspired by the creativity within our community.
This event celebrates the creativity, talent, and achievements of people with disability, and the confidence, connection, and joy experienced through creating, performing, and collaborating. Come experience an evening filled with art, stories, and shared celebration — where every expression tells a story, and every person belongs.

Please be aware that there will be an event photographer present on the night, if you do not want your photograph taken please inform one of the staff on the night. A Media release will also be sent out before the event, which means there is a potential that media may be present.
