# Event Details - **Event Name**: Anstey to Inglewood and Return (15km) - **Event Start and End Date**: Wed, 22 Jul, 2026 at 09:30 am – Wed, 22 Jul, 2026 at 03:30 pm - **Event Description**: Join us as we enjoy a hike through Anstey Hill to Inglewood and return on Wednesday 22nd July 2026. TICKETS Tickets are $45.00pp (discounted for gold, silver and bronze members). To see our membership packages head to our Wise Women Walking membership page - https://www.wisewomenwalking.org.au/index.cfm?module=MEMBERSHIP_V2 WALK DETAILS We will hike for approximately 15km through Anstey Hill Recreation Park, making our way up to Inglewood, where we will enjoy a break for a cuppa/drink and a treat before returning to our cars at Anstey Hill. Allow 5 to 6 hours for this walk, depending on group pace. The walk is a moderate to challenging walk and includes a mix of wide and single trails with some gradual climbs and descents. There are a few rocky sections which may be slippery. Hiking poles are recommended if you have them. MEET TIME/LOCATION Please arrive at 9.15am ready for a 9.30am start. Meet near the entrance at the bottom of Quarry Track (Gate 1) of Anstey Hill Recreation Park, 1368 North-East Road, Tea Tree Gully. This entrance is near the junction of North-East Road and Perseverance Road. There is a small carpark located here at the bottom of Quarry Track, or you can park on Perseverance Road near Ruby Raja Indian Restaurant, or across the road in the Tea Tree Gully Hotel carpark. MEDICAL DETAILS FORM Don’t forget to print off your I.C.E. Medical Details Form which can be downloaded from our website. If you are unable to print, your walk leader will have some spare forms on the morning of the walk for you to complete. WEATHER AND GEAR You can check the forecast for the walk location here - http://www.bom.gov.au/places/sa/tea-tree-gully/forecast/detailed/ If the weather forecast is for extreme weather or a fire ban is issued for the Adelaide Hills, this walk will be cancelled the day before and fully refunded. We will only cancel last minute (by text message and email) if there is a severe weather warning/thunderstorm warning or weather events that are likely to impact on the safety of our leaders and walkers. Due to the variability of the weather, the following items will be needed: - a daypack/backpack to carry your personal gear - 2-3 litres of water - sun protection (hat, sunnies, suncream) - wet weather gear (check the forecast and plan accordingly!) - blister kit/personal medication - high energy snacks/fruit to eat along the way - hiking boots/comfortable walking shoes - layerable clothing for before/during/after the walk (eg. jumper/jacket) - walking poles (optional) Please ensure you have the minimum gear required as no refunds are possible after booking. If you arrive under prepared our leaders have the right to ask you not to walk with us for safety reasons. Note: All our leaders carry group first aid kits, emergency communication devices and are qualified bushwalking leaders. OTHER INFORMATION Our walks are all about fun, fitness and friendship - not a personal training session. If we cannot walk and talk at the same time we are walking too fast! And we never leave anyone behind. Minimum age requirement for our walks is 18 years old (as long they are accompanied by a supervising adult). Please check with us if unsure. For the walk to go ahead, we need a minimum of 5 walkers registered by the registration closing time (5pm the day before the walk). If a walk is cancelled due to the minimum number not being met, participants who have registered will be notified by text the evening before the walk and a refund will be given. During our walks, photos may be taken for use publicly on our website, social media channels and e-newsletter.
