Adult ornament making class includes 2 lbs of clay to make any number of ornaments from your slab, coils, or pinch type clay.
You’ll have choices of holiday or other textured rolling pins and tons of cookie cutters.
Hope will demonstrate how to prepare your slab to cut the ornaments or form them with coils or pinching.
Coils and pinching require shortened nails.
This class includes your choices of glazes and all firings.
This is a 2 hour session which means you’ll finish all ornament cutting in the time allowed.
6:30-6:45 demonstration from Hope.
6:45-8:15 ornament making and guidance from Hope.
8:15-8:30 Clean up tools and placement of ornaments on your ware boards.
Any unused clay will be placed in the reclaim bags.
Cancellations and other important information:
There are no refunds for no shows or cancellations made 7 days prior to event. You can gift your prepaid seat to a friend or if we have a wait list we will do our best to swap your seat with someone on our wait list.
Your excess clay will not be saved or reused in an open studio time. You have 1 hr and 45 minutes to use your clay and reclaim any excess or scraps.
There are no make up days for this class.

This event is for 6 makers.
You will have the option to glaze your ornament on any Friday or Saturday afternoon 1-4pm. If you can not return to glaze your ornaments we will glaze them for you.
Glaze Days: Nov 28,29/ Dec 5,6,12,13,19,20
Thicker ornaments will take longer to dry and may not be ready for glazing.
