I’m so happy to introduce Jessica Godfrey as our new pottery throwing teacher! Jessica was one of our past First Friday Art Walk exhibitors. Her Intro to Throwing classes will be three This is an Intro to Throwing class for BEGINNERS ONLY.
Classes include learning to center clay on the wheel, as well as opening the clay and pulling up the walls for small bowls. Each student will receive 3 - 2lb clay balls to practice with. Each student should be able to make their first piece on the wheel. All reclaim clay is recycled for future studio use. Your piece or pieces (up to 3) will be bisque fired and glazed for you. You will be notified for pick up in approx 3 weeks.
If you are more experienced than a beginner, please consider participating in open studio time where you can work independently on the wheel or hand building!
Our open studio times are perfect for potters who can work independently.
We accept cash, card, or check. Payment saves your seat.
Please register with payment in the studio.
Cancelations for this class are accepted 2 weeks in advance of class date. In the event you reserved with payment but can not attend, feel free to gift your seat to a friend. If we have a wait list we are happy to work with you on a replacement for your paid seat. There are no make up dates For our classes as scheduled.
