Volunteer Day

Hey y'all! We need some hands to clear an area of the pasture that has come up with cockleburs so we are asking for YOUR help!

If you're unfamiliar, these things are a nuisance and get stuck badly in manes and tails. Ideally, we can get the seed pods up before they re-seed themselves and then I can shred the pasture in preparation for spring grass seeding.

I have extra gloves and clippers but if you have work gloves or even rose-pruning gloves that are longer, feel free to wear your own. The burrs are prickly! I also recommend long pants and sleeves as well as good boots for being out in the field. The weather should be super nice for us.

I'll have light refreshments and this is a family-friendly event so kids are welcome. See you then!
