A "Beginner" is someone who has never raced BMX outside of the League program.Here's a rundown of how the event will be structured:**For Riders**Kids will enjoy a "roll-around" on the track, supervised by our league coach and on-track volunteers. This is an "appetizer portion" to the instruction they will receive during the League season. The League also includes racing as part of each session.**For Parents**Watch from the stands, or grab your bike, air up the tires and join the fun with your kids. When it comes time to sign up for the League, parents ride for half price. After a tour of the facility, we will give parents a briefing on how the League format works.**For the Whole Family**- A welcome message from The Hill BMX staff.- A "Track Walk," to give riders and parents an up-close view of the course.- Firsthand stories from BMX families on what the sport of BMX Racing has done for them.- Group and personal Q&A time to answer all your questions.**What to Bring/What to Wear for Riders**- Long sleeves, jeans, closed-toe "grippy" shoes- A bike without reflectors, chain guard and/or pegs- A helmet (full-face preferred)**IMPORTANT**Riders must be able to ride a pedal bike without training wheels to participate.
