This session will give mums the chance to socialise and get creative, whilst enjoying some yummy food.It will begin with some time to chat, eat and have a cuppa, before taking part in one of 3 craft workshops. After a short break for refreshments, we will all swap to a second craft activity.There will be time afterwards to chat, eat, drink and give some feedback about your experience.The Crafters: McWild - a beginner friendly crochet session making a dishcloth with each stitch taking us closer to slowing down and leaving our worries at the door. We will also get something practical to take away to use and remember the shared experience time and again.Buff & Blue - immerse yourself in card printing to make for someone special or as a lovely keepsake for you to proudly display.Sashiko - Discover the mindful art of Sashiko stitching with Stitch and Story in this relaxed, hands-on workshop. Using repurposed fabrics and traditional Japanese Sashiko techniques, you'll create a beautiful and practical drinks coaster from start to finish in a surprisingly short amount of time. Perfect for beginners and experienced stitchers alike, this satisfying project is ideal for a creative "nap-time make" and makes a thoughtful handmade gift. Enjoy learning a timeless stitching technique while transforming simple materials into something both useful and unique.Where is it: The annex function room at the back of Ex-Servicemen's Club. Go down the left side of the building, turn right at the small path and follow it around to the function room.
