Modern Apprenticeship Business Breakfast

Our Business Breakfast will provide you the opportunity to hear about proposals from UHI Moray to offer new Modern Apprenticeship (MA) frameworks including:

• Refreshed Business MA suitable for all businesses and sectors
• Digital marketing
• Management
• Sports and leisure

Giving you the chance to input into these proposals and if they would be of interest to you and your business you will meet with existing and completed apprentices and their employers from a range of occupational sectors.

You will also learn more about MAs, how they can benefit your business by developing a highly skilled workforce based on your requirements while investing in the future of Morays young people to gain accredited qualifications while working and developing valuable practical experience.

You will hear from:

• Developing the Young Workforce Moray (DYW Moray) about their vision and aim to provide more opportunities for young people to be better prepared for the world of work and reduce youth unemployment.
• UHI Moray will talk about the MA programme and the various frameworks they currently offer, new ones in the pipeline and share inspiration case studies/videos about the apprentices and employer journey.

We will then ask for your input as part of the workshops which will be attended by apprentices and their employers:

• What is your experience of the MA programme if any?
• Hear from the apprentices and the employers about their experiences particularly how it has benefitted the business and the apprentice
• What additional MA frameworks you would like to see UHI Moray offering
• The pros and cons of the MA programme – what works well and what needs to be improved.
