Innes House is the beautiful setting for our bespoke Christmas Market – an architectural delight set in idyllic grounds, the fair will take place within the House itself – set over two floors and the entrance courtyard. This is a unique opportunity to view one of Moray’s grandest homes – rarely opened to the public.
Peek into the drawing room and library – traverse not one but two ballrooms, enjoy the ambiance of the kitchen and the warmth of the ‘whisky room’. Glance at the wonderful portraits linking the corridors and balconies.
With a complimentary welcoming glass of mulled wine enjoy this beautiful home dressed exquisitely for Christmas and hosting our very special market starting in the afternoon and going through to the evening so the festive ambiance can be enjoyed into the dark. Twinkling lights, mistletoe and holly, so much to enjoy in one very special location. All profits from this unique event will go to the Scottish air ambulance service as Scotland’s only charity air ambulance, SCAA plays a crucial role in responding to life-threatening accidents and medical emergencies across Scotland and this year they have launched Operation Skyward which we are looking forward to supporting.
Our exhibitors will be hosting beautiful boutique range of decadent textiles, gorgeous organic soaps, tantalising fused glass jewellery, antler craftwork, exquisitely handmade silver jewellery, coveted barrel homeware, delightful skincare and soap, charming ceramics – all lovingly handmade in Scotland by dedicated artisans.
If food is your speciality you will be enthralled by our food & drink producers. Enjoy browsing a superb range of award winning preserves, locally made fine loose leaf teas and a sublime selection of chocolates. Savouries too abound with Woodmill Game’s pies, sausages, pates, soups, homemade diners and fresh cuts of venison. A wide choice of delicious waxed cheeses and mouth watering fudges, tablet and macaroons to sample and savour. Our alcohol producers include a range of botanical spirits, Fruity gins, gorgeous rums and even chocolate whisky liqueurs.
Refreshments on the day are courtesy of Highland Food Shack – cray fish rolls, bbq pulled pork, home made fries and more….
