He has always had a love for camping, hiking, and the outdoors, frequently exploring Ohio’s dense woods. Now living in Colorado, he serves as a Volunteer Naturalist for Boulder County Parks & Open Space. Alan enjoys exploring the mountains and sharing his passion for nature with others.Anna MegargleAnna's passion for the outdoors stems from childhood camping trips in the mountains and growing up in a city with a strong nature focus-Boulder! She loves going on bird walks, learning about native plants and their properties, and exploring Colorado’s natural beauty. She particularly enjoys watching chickadees in her backyard and spotting limber pines in the Rockies.The program is free with a Colorado Parks and Wildlife State Park pass, otherwise admission is $10.
