Work Weekend is an open invitation for men & women (age 18+) who want to volunteer to help out with various projects around camp! The Work Weekend is a great opportunity to hang out and bond with other volunteers, spend some time on our gorgeous 49-acre property, and have a hand in the life change that takes place every year at Pine Lake Camps. Your service to our camp will affect many generations to come!
Typical Work Weekend projects may include:
Repairs, remodeling
Painting
Organizing
Deep cleaning
Moving/hauling stuff
Wiring, plumbing
Tree trimming, log splitting
Siding/Roofing
Flooring/carpeting
Cooking for work weekend volunteers :)
Housekeeping / turnaround on Sunday
This fall we will have an emphasis on indoor/interior projects, unless God surprises us with great weather.

Arrive anytime Friday after 9am. (Please let us know your estimated arrival time so we can be ready for you.)
Depart anytime Sunday afternoon. (We will keep you busy as long as you're able to stick around.)
We take a break for worship on Sunday with Free Grace United Eldora in our camp chapel.
*We charge a non-refundable $25 registration fee to hold your spot & help cover meal costs. If ya need to cancel, we will consider your fee a donation to PLC.
Accommodation Notes:
- Housing is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, with respect to individuals’ needs. We seek to make everyone comfortable. Basic bedding will be provided.
- Married couples registering together will be assigned a private cabin (as long as they are available) but may be required to walk to a detached restroom.
-Individuals will be assigned to same-gender group cabins.
