🐴 PONY RIDES ON THE TRACTOR TRAIL!

We’re excited to welcome Girl Scouts Troop #8824, who will be bringing PONY RIDES to the Hoedown!

🐴 Take a ride along the museum’s Tractor Trail and add another old-fashioned memory to your night.

🎟️ $2 per ride

Pony rides are an additional-cost activity and are not included with general admission.


👢 CLOGGING BY THE SALTY STOMPERS!

We’re excited to welcome the Salty Stompers to the Heritage Hoedown! Come watch them kick up their heels and bring some good old-fashioned clogging to the museum.

🎧 MUSIC BY DJ ANDY!

We’re grateful to have DJ Andy joining us and donating his DJ services for the evening!

He’ll help keep the Hoedown going with music, announcements, activities, and our Big Hoedown Dance. 🎶🤠

🛍️ SHOP MERCANTILE ROW

Stroll through Mercantile Row and shop with local vendors, makers, artisans, crafters, and small businesses.

Come ready to SHOP LOCAL • SUPPORT LOCAL • CELEBRATE OUR HERITAGE!

Come hungry! We’re planning three different food truck categories for the evening:

🍰 COMMUNITY CAKE WALK — $2 PER ENTRY

You can’t have an old-fashioned Hoedown without a Cake Walk!

Purchase your $2 Cake Walk ticket at the Admission/Ticket Table and take a walk for your chance to bring home something delicious.

📸 HOEDOWN PHOTO CORRAL — $5

Make a memory from your night at the museum! Our Haupt Building livestock display will become a special Hoedown Photo Corral for the evening.

🎟️ Photo Corral tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the Admission/Ticket Table.

🧒 KIDS’ CORRAL

Bring those little cowboys and cowgirls! 🤠

We’re planning old-fashioned games, farm-themed activities, hula hoops, Junior Farmer fun and plenty of activities for the kids.

🌾 SCARECROW CONTEST FINALE

The Hoedown will also serve as the finale of our Scarecrow Contest!

Take a walk along the Scarecrow Trail, see the entries, and stick around as we announce this year’s winners.

🤠 DRESS FOR THE HOEDOWN!

Cowboy boots, hats, denim, overalls, bandanas and your best country attire are encouraged — but definitely not required!

Bring the kids. Bring the grandparents. Bring your friends.

Come grab something good to eat, shop local, explore the museum, enjoy the entertainment and spend an old-fashioned Saturday night together.
