Our overarching objective is to expedite genetic evaluations in remote areas of Texas to improve health outcomes of children living with rare diseases. This session will provide background information on clinical genetics concepts, including information regarding when to refer children to genetics. We will also discuss updates from Project GIVE, a study that expedites genomic evaluation and testing for children in El Paso.
Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of the session, the participants should be able to:
